Asian Stir Fry

Ingredients
- - 1 lb of protein (chicken, beef, tofu, shrimp, etc.)
- - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- - 1 onion, thinly sliced
- - 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- - 1 cup broccoli florets
- - 1 cup sliced carrots
- - 1 cup sugar snap peas
- - 3 cloves garlic, minced
- - 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- - 1/4 cup soy sauce
- - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Directions
- 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2. Add the protein and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 3. In the same pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil.
- 4. Add the onion, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and sugar snap peas. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- 5. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- 6. Return the protein to the pan.
- 7. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
- 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9. Serve the Asian stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!
