Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • - 1 lb of chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • - 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • - 1 onion, sliced
  • - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • - 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  3. 3. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until it is cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, add more oil if needed, then add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. 5. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
  6. 6. Stir well to combine and coat everything with the sauce. Cook for another minute to let the sauce thicken.
  7. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. 8. Serve the stir-fry hot over steamed rice. Enjoy!
